The train chosen should be one which has adequate entertainment equipments for teens. Teens usually like being entertained by music and teenage programs when traveling. If possible adequate arrangements should be made so that the teenage members of the family have very functional laptops which can play music, access the internet, play games and watch movies during the trip.

Due to the hurried nature of activities during normal working days it may be hard for a family to bond during working days of the year. However, when the family is on a long rail journey, they will be sufficient time for family bonding. The teens should be encouraged to be actively engaged in family bonding.

Booking of cabins and seats should be done at least one week before the actual date the family is to start traveling.
